Wapi on horseback

Walking, trotting or galloping, discover the picardy Wallonia as your own pace. Its green setting is a great place to get away from it all, riding across open plains, shadow-speckled forests and fields of barley and maize. You will principally ride along earth paths, alongside streams and on repurposed railway lines.

The two nature parks – the Pays des Collines and the Scheldt Plains nature parks – are an invitation to discover a land rich in legends and stories, bucolic landscape, castles and villages. Several looped routes can also accommodate horses and carriages. Many equestrian centres can also act as a source of information for your rides through the whole of picardy Wallonia.
