It has been listed as World Heritage since 1999. Bell-ringing has also been listed by UNESCO as World Heritage in 2014. Bell-ringing concerts take place in Tournai on Sundays at 3.30 pm during high season!

The Cathedral of Our Lady in Tournai

Added to the World Heritage list in 2000. It was honoured due to the exemplary nature of its Romanesque and gothic parts, the extraordinary size of its nave, the wealth of its sculptures as regards its capitals and its transept, from which five towers rise; in short, it inspired an unique architectural style.
