Museum of Folklore and Cross-border Life (MUSEF - Leven op de grens)
Opened on 21 September 2019 after 5 years of building work, the Museum of Folklore and Cross-border Life (Musée de Folklore vie Frontalière) features a permanent exhibition of more than 1,500 objects/documents/accounts. Fantastic collections, housed in a jewel of contemporary architecture and showcased by a new layout, will introduce visitors to some surprising discoveries from the Picardy and cross-border regions.The Museum also puts on lots of events including heritage workshops and extra-curricular courses, as well as a heritage garden and a well-stocked document centre dedicated to Mouscron. It has established itself as a benchmark for regional ethnology.
Individual timetables :
Open Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 6pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 2pm to 6pm. Closed on bank holidays.
Free on the first Sunday of the month.
