Starting out as an amateur three years ago, Frédérick Baert has dedicated himself heart and soul to his passion. His 20 litres are a thing of the past: one of his brews now produces 200l and, driven by his local popularity, he can now produce up to 500 litres. Why "Authentique"? The micro-brewery was keen to highlight its desire to respect traditional savoir-faire. "All the ingredients used are produced locally," insists the Blaton-resident. The Beloeil malthouse gives him the chance to work with six varieties of malt. Add hops, water, mix, ferment, and the job is done. The Authentique Brasserie currently nurtures 4 types of beer, including one specially bottled with brown sugar. Tasting room (40 people). Catering available, booking essential.
